유럽의 글로벌 전자 업체에 FP1000 선적

오늘, 고성능, 대량 생산 환경에 레이저 가공 시스템의 새로운 세대를 출시했다고 발표했다. PPI는 유럽의 주요 자동차 전자 부품 제조업체 FP1000의 첫 번째 주문을 출하했다. 레이저 기반의 제조 도구의 FP 시리즈의 다른 모델은 지금부터 사용할 수 있다.

FP1000 ships to global electronics manufacturers, Ottawa, Canada, Feb.5, 2007, Process Photonics Inc.,

today announced that it has launched a new generation of laser machining systems for high performance, high volume manufacturing environments. PPI has shipped its first orders of the FP1000 to a major European automotive electronics manufacturer. Other models in the FP Series of laser-based manufacturing tools are also available now.

스마트폰에 들어가는 빌드업(Build-up)PCB는 미세회로 배선형이 용이하고, 배선밀도가 기존 PCB보다 높다.

그러나, 현재 구부려 접거나 휘어지는 유연성과 굴곡성을 가진 플렉서블(Flexible) PCB와 빌드업PCB를 일체화시킨 리지드블랙서블(Rigid Flexible) PCB는스마트폰과 태블릿PC에서 핵심적인 역할을 하고 있다.

특히, 빌드업PCB와 Rigid Flexible PCB는 기존 PCB와 다르게 레이저 드릴을 사용하여, 100마이크론 이하의 미세 홀을 가공 할 수 있다. 그래서 스마트폰 슬림화에 따른 핸드폰, 태블릿과 같은 한정된 공간을 최대한 활용함으로써, 기기의 유연한 형태의 디자인을 가능하게 하여 제품에 적용되고 있다.
